Why should I work with VP Medical Consultants and not someone else?
There are a lot of consulting companies out there. They all claim that they will help you. We know, because we’ve used a lot of them throughout our careers. Here’s two reasons to go with us:
- Other consulting companies can be very expensive. "Some charge around $25,000 a year or more." If I had that kind of money available, I probably wouldn’t need consulting. To make matters worse, after you put down a hefty amount of money to sign up with them, they hit you with a bunch of additional charges for services you “need in order to be successful”. They are also constantly trying to upsell you for additional services, bleeding you of more of your money. "That’s why we only charge a $5,000 startup fee and then a monthly fee of $500.
- Clients have told us when they used other consulting companies they spent a lot of money and there was no positive impact to their business. We have seen and heard this happen to a lot of people and have experienced it ourselves. Clients will pay for consulting services or courses, and it doesn’t translate into additional income. Either they didn’t learn anything new, or they did not implement what they learned. "With us, we will put together a plan to meet your goals, and then we will work with you to make sure those goals get achieved. We measure our success against how many of your goals have been achieved.
What makes VP Medical Consultants unique?
- We are very selective on who we work with. We don’t work with everyone. When we interview you, it’s to determine if we are a good fit. If we can’t help you, or your situation does not match our skill set, we will tell you right upfront. We won’t waste your time or money.
- We only accept 20 clients a year. We want to make sure we have enough time to spend helping our clients be successful. There’s only so many hours in the day, and we want to make sure our clients are getting what they need.
- We know what it’s like to have your own business. We have had a successful medical practice for over 20 years. None of this, “those who can’t do, teach” stuff. "Our business made $1,000,000 last year, and we worked 3 ½ days a week."
- We also raised a family and home schooled our 4 children while starting and growing our medical practice. Plus, we were and still are active in our community and our childrens’ activities. Not many other consultants can make that claim.
- You will work directly with us, not with one of our minions. You want to work with us because we’re the ones with the experience. We very likely already made the mistakes in our practices that you made or will make. We’ve had cash services in our businesses for over 20 years, so we’ve seen and heard it all.
- Most importantly, we love to teach and are great at it. We love what we do, and we want to share our knowledge and experience with others. And we promise to make it fun!
How much does it cost?
- We charge an upfront fee of $5,000. Then it is just $500 per month.
If I decide to work with VP Medical Consultants, what happens then?
- The first thing we will do is have a discovery interview. We need to know if working together is going to be a good idea. If we can’t help you, we will tell you right up front, so as not to waste your time or money. If we can, great! We will get all the administrative paperwork out of the way (contracts, indemnifications, form of payment, schedules, etc.) and then get to work.
What is the process to get me where I want to be?
- Our first step is to put together a plan for the year to get you from where you are to where you want to be. Then you will talk to us every other week for an hour. Here we will discuss any issues that you are running into, answer questions and help you move forward with your business. At the end of your first year, we will put together a plan for the following year. This process continues year to year as long as you want.
How do we communicate with each other?
- We will talk on the phone every other week for an hour. We can also do a video conference, if it’s necessary.
- We are available via email and text anytime. We try to respond within 24 hours.
- If you need help between the regular meetings, then we usually can help you. You can call, text or email. It all depends on how busy we are with our other business ventures. We typically don’t charge anything extra for this service, unless it starts getting too frequent. Then we may have to increase your monthly fee or call schedule. This is determined on a case-by-case basis.
Are there any additional charges?
- No. It’s pretty much just the initial start up fee and then your monthly fee. If there are any additional costs, we will tell you up front, before you even begin working with us. For example, we might recommend a course from our online academy. If that were the case, we will tell you that price in advance.
Why do we talk every other week?
- In our experience, 2 weeks is enough time to get things done between our calls. Life gets in the way a lot, especially for small business owners, and this will give you enough time to recover and move forward with your assignments.
